Testal Gain Electrical Safety Competency

Testal employees have attended a training course with the National Grid

Testal are carrying out concrete and materials investigative work inside National Grid sub-stations.

In order to undertake the work, three of the team completed the Basic Electrical Safety Competency (BESC) passport scheme operated by National Grid which includes training and testing inside a live sub-station. Testal's diagnostics staff already had EAK cards from 2008 however this needed to be supplemented as BESC status is now required for any individuals working inside live sub-stations.

Testal employees that attended the training session and successfully passed the course were Fred Fountain, James Wilson and Greg Harris.
